    [align=center]hey, i'm oh death (or just death), but feel free to call me anything you'd like, so long as it's appropriate. i'm interested in starting some advanced rps, and therefore have made the very thread you're reading. i'd expect two to three strong paragraphs per post, and if you're anticipating that you won't be on the site for a long length of time i'd expect for you to let me know, and i will do the same. mature content, including cussing, drinking, drugs, etc. may be involved, so keep this in mind. on that note-

    @insomnia - maybe our characters are trying to outdo each other with how high-profile their victims are, how crazy their latest kill is, etc., all whilst trying to stay out of the hands of the police? and one night they actually physically run into each other while trying to kill the same guy...i don't really know, to be honest.




    @ricky-boo - yes, i love it! angst for days. c: mine'd probably have a drug problem, most likely smoking weed. and as they become friends they totally rule the scene, pranking the tech people and the bands and running around and generally being just really big psychotic weirdos and at first they think they're just friends but obviously not...




    Flicker - absolutely! i really like it so far. maybe at first the angel just tags along with your demon, like the annoying younger sibling, and at first the demon cuts her off rudely but eventually she grows on her and she actually becomes really protective of her and - yeah. did you have any sort of major conflict in mind, or no? (like some kind of crazy angel/demon war idk)

    heaven and hell. you'd think after several millennia they'd overcome their differences, but no. angels just have to be the right ones, the winning ones, so here we are - gearing up for war. ugh, the whole thing reeks of the middle-ages and the terrible mess that was. i hate to even think about it, much less speak of it.




    of course, i'm not one of the demons who'll actually be fighting. nah, they only send out the brutes for those ones, to minimize loss and whatever. instead i'll be one of the spies running around lil' ol' earth, recruiting fallen angels, spying on angel troops, that kind of thing. not very interesting, but it's better than sitting around in hell doing nothing, so i'm not complaining.




    it's the first day of my dispatch, and things are proving to be a little tricky. the city i was transported to was supposed to have at least half a dozen fallen angels, i just had to find them. easier said than done, since they blended quite well with the rest of the boring population.




    i'm walking down the road, kicking at various stones and frowning, when i turn the corner and immediately smack into someone. i let out a startled cry, hitting the ground with a heavy 'oof.'

    "...it's been eight days since the infamous serial killer we know as 'blitz' last struck, the longest break we've seen yet since his first attack over a year ago. many people, myself included, are wondering if this could mean the reign of terror blitz created is over - or if he's just biding his time, waiting for the perfect moment to strike."




    there's about a half dozen people in the small hole-in-the-wall cafe i'm wasting time in, and all of them, even the waitress, are crowded around a tiny television in the corner, watching intently. i scoff quietly, stirring a spoon lazily through the cup of black coffee before me. news people - always twisting the details to get the most dramatic story they can. the general public lapped it up too, which made it even more annoying.




    i took a long sip of the caffeinated beverage, looking thoughtfully out the big front windows. despite the late hour the street was still bustling with people, young and old. one little girl skipped alongside a man who was most likely her grandfather, brunette ponytail flying behind her.




    i sigh, taking another sip of coffee. one thing that news reporter said was right - it had been a long time since blitz's last attack. too long. but that was all going to change tonight. i stood up, finished off the cup of coffee that was really too watered down to even be considered coffee, and threw a couple dollar bills down on the table before striding out of the cafe.




    a brief five minute walk led me straight to my destination, a tall, lavish apartment building with too many gargoyles to be considered even remotely attractive - at least, to me. honestly, rich people were so strange. i lean against the brick wall across the street, checking my watch. quarter after ten, not bad. just five more minutes and blitz will have struck again.
